Yellow Variant in Background
Wind shifts the position of an Indiian Blanket wildflower blossom, revealing a yellow and white variant of this native Texas plant. This roadside patch of Indian Blankets, also known as firewheels, consistently produces the variant from year to year, although there seems to be little difference in the percentage of the mix with the standard red and yellow flowers.
