Adapted Lens Rig
My adapted-lens setup for the OM-System 50mm f1.8 lens: an Olympus PEN-F camera, a Vello OM-to-MFT adapter, and a small lens hood marketed for the Leica system. Because the OM 50mm was designed for a 35mm film camera, the actual focal length when used on a micro four thirds camera is 100mm. This lens is manual focus, and there is no electrical connection to the camera, thus no EXIF registration. However, the PEN-F has a provision for registration of third-party lens name and the effective focal length. But the camera setting must be selected by the photographer whenever such a lens is used. The lens produces very pleasing bokeh and is great for portraits and static-subject closeups. Raw development in DxO PhotoLab. Post processing in ON1 Photo RAW 2018.1 (texture: cracked paint).
